| The boat racing business, including 12 off-site branches (as of March 2006) and the Misa-ri Water Stadium at the center , achieved a sales of 122.3 billion Won in 2002, the first year of operation. The sales were 326.6 billion Won in 2003, , 337.7 billion Won in 2004, and 412.7 billion Won in 2005. As of the late 2005 three and half years from the opening, it contributed 219.4 billion Won to the expansion of national & regional finances. It is well on its way to quickly stabilizing, and early redemption of initial investment will be made in the near future. The business is expected to play a part in raising diverse public funds including the national sports promotion funds. |
