Diverse supports are provided to strengthen the role of NACOSA for the promotion of recreational sports that meet the various demands of people such as the creation of a healthy living environment and life quality improvement. |

Support for Sports Science Institutions |

Supports are provided for seminars & research by sports science institutions through an open competition system in order to build a knowledge infrastructure and promote national sports for the development of the sports industry. |

Supports for other recreational sports organizations |

Supports have been provided to improve athlete welfare and promote private sector recreational sports. SOSFO will offer transparent and fair financial supports by selecting recreational sports organizations through the open competition system from 2007. |

Recreational Sports Organizations |

Recreational sports instructors are assigned in 16 Si (City)/ Do (Province) & 234 Si/Gun/Gu in order to efficiently meet national demand for diverse recreational sports activities and expand the involvements in the changing sports environment in the 21st century. SOSFO has supported and assigned recreational sports instructors to encourage senior citizens to join sports activities since 2006. |

Supports of Various Recreational Sports Programs |

In line with the national demand for diversified recreational sports, various recreational sports programs are developed and distributed to ensure customized sports activities by age, gender and class. In addition, SOSFO provides the organization and networking of sports clubs to improve efficiency of sports activities. |
